With this letter we again want to visit you and share with you Gods work in Alto Refugio.
Stand at the CHRISTIAN EXPOSITION
On April 21 and 22 Alto Refugio had a Stand at the Christian Exposition at the new Shopping „Fuente“.
Our goal was to make our work known more. We also took advantage of the opportunity to offer our educational presentations of HIV/AIDS and also give a presentation at the place.
It is our desire that this kind of exposition may bring fruit and that God may bless the contacts made.
Testimony of a volunteer:
Hi. My name is Eva Huber and I am 18 years old. For 2 month I have the privilege to support the Alto Refugio Team. In June 2016 I have graduated from High school and since September I am working with the missionary organization MOVIDA in Latin America. First, I was in Argentina where I worked with a variety of social-Christian teams. I have learned how different the collaboration in teams is and how new coworkers are received. I have to admit honestly that the Alto Refugio Team has impressed me very much! It not only is their place of work but also part of their family. It has also impressed me very much how I was received and integrated without any doubts. Unity among the coworkers defines the whole atmosphere at the house and it can literally be sensed how this work is blessed!

Viaje al Chaco
From May 5th until 7th Bertram and I (Else) had some opportunities to inform about the work at Alto Refugio in the Chaco. Friday evening I had the privilege to meet personally many women who bake delicious cookies for us every month. I spent one evening with them. It impresses me very much how many women even at an older age still help, faithfully baking cookies every month.
Sunday evening the women’s association from Valencia invited us to the cultural centre Molino, where we had the time to make new contacts and renew the old ones during a relaxing dinner. It is a privilege for us to tell people, who support us, about Gods actions at Alto Refugio. After our presentation, an auction of beautiful things that the women from Valencia had made with a lot of love, took place.
Some short personal visits to family, friends and acquaintances gave us the feeling
that many people support Alto Refugio in different ways.
With many encouraging words, fruits, jam and many other things we arrived, thanks to the Lord, sound and safe at Alto Refugio on Monday at noon.
We are open for invitations and are happy to receive visitors. We are glad to show how we work and what we do.
